The buffet table brings together citrus-dressed salads, chilled pastas with sudachi and orange, and cold plates layered with herbs and seasonal fruit. Warm dishes include Italian staples like seafood ragù lasagne and mussels steamed with cherry tomatoes. For dessert, look for a kawachi-bankan citrus tart, lemon chiffon cake, and a tomato-herb compote with lemon jelly — light, aromatic finishes to a summer lunch.
The signature choice is Kyo Porchetta — pork belly from Kyoto's mochi-buta breed, rolled with fragrant herbs and slow-roasted in the Josper until crisp outside and succulent within. A sansho pepper accent and gremolata sauce add bright, peppery contrast. Also on offer: the catch of the day, Cajun-spiced prawns, and grass-fed beef rump served tagliata-style.
